Future Plans : Jordyn is still awaiting her dream college admission's decision, but will be attending college where she will pursue a career as a dermatologist.
My mom and dad have been instrumental in my gymnastics journey as they have always encouraged my training, chauffeured her to practice when she couldn't drive, and were her biggest supporters in and out of the gym.
Jordyn is a senior at Brunswick High School, where she maintains a GPA of 4.26 while attending both AP and community college courses . Although she loved tumbling from the time she could walk, she didn't begin gymnastics training until age 9 after dabbling in dance and cheer. Fortunately, she found herself at Dominique Moceanu Gymnastics Center two years ago and she believes this has had the biggest impact upon her gymnastics training due to the dramatically different gym culture, which emphasizes positivity and the importance of combining gymnastics training with yoga.
In addition to gymnastics, she is a Varsity Football Cheerleader, a member of National Honor Society, Peer Mediation, Medina County Leadership Academy, and VOFT. She also works as an assistant coach and proshop associate at DMGC, which allows her to share her love of gymnastics with the younger gymnasts who look up to her.
She attributes her years of gymnastics training to helping her become an independent, accomplished student athlete, who has stressed excellence in both the classroom and gym. The lessons learned from gymnastics will help her be successful in college and for years to come.
